Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SecureCheck ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SecureCheck provides tools to check publicly available SSL certificate information and DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT/SPF/DMARC/DKIM, NS) for domains you submit. The Service queries public DNS infrastructure and the target server's TLS handshake — it does not access any private or restricted systems.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Attempt to overwhelm, abuse, or circumvent rate limits or other protections on the Service;
  • Use the Service as part of any attack, reconnaissance, or unauthorized scanning activity against systems you do not own or have permission to test;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or resell the Service's output without permission;
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to block access (including by IP address) for any use that violates these terms.

4. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DNS and SSL information can change at any time and may be cached, delayed, or inaccurate due to factors outside our control (DNS propagation, network conditions, third-party server responses). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any results.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SecureCheck and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including decisions made based on SSL/DNS results shown by the tool. You are responsible for independently verifying critical security information through additional sources where it matters (e.g. before relying on a certificate expiry date for a production system).

6. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (including affiliate links to hosting, domain, or SSL providers). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.

7. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time without prior notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (update this to your actual jurisdiction if different), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
