About SecureCheck

The Project

SecureCheck is a free, no-signup SSL certificate and DNS record checker. It lets you instantly verify a domain's SSL expiry and issuer, look up A, CNAME, MX, TXT, and NS records, and check SPF, DMARC, and DKIM configuration — all from a single page, without installing anything or creating an account.

Who Built This

SecureCheck is a solo side project, built and maintained independently. It started from a simple, practical need: checking a domain's SSL expiry or DNS/email records shouldn't require digging through five different tools, each with its own ads, sign-up walls, or confusing output.

It's built with Node.js and Express, and queries DNS infrastructure and target servers directly — there's no third-party API in between for the core checks, which keeps results accurate and fast.

Why It's Free

The goal is to keep this a genuinely useful, fast utility — not a lead-generation funnel. The site may show ads to cover hosting costs, but there's no paywall on the core SSL and DNS checking features, and no account or email is required to use them.
